The council has two allotment sites on Acaster Lane and Appleton Road, where plots are available for villagers to rent. The plots are available in 4 sizes:
- Plot size A up to 675 square feet: £10
- Plot size B from 676 to 1350 square feet: £15
- Plot size C from 1351 to 2700 square feet: £20
- Plot size D from 2701 to 4050 square feet: £25
The prices quoted are annual rents which are billed in September
There is a waiting list, which you can be added to by emailing allotments@bishopthorpe-pc.gov.uk with your address (to show you live in the village).
To meet demand, the larger plots are being split as they are returned.
If you would like a plot on a specific site, please include this information in the email.
You will need to sign the tenancy agreement to agree to the terms.
