Vernon House is a community centre where activities are held which everyone can attend. It is found at the junction of Vernon Close and Maple Avenue.

A Defibrillator is fitted beside the front door, in an emergency ring 999 and they will give you the code to open the door.
Vernon House is listed with the City of York Council (COYC) as an Asset of Community Value.
This means that if COYC decide to sell the property, the Parish Council would have the first refusal to purchase the property if it registers an interest in buying it.
